Gyorgy Szondi
Mr Gyorgy Szondi is a Senior Lecturer in Public Relations and course leader for the MA in International Communication.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, an MSc in Physics and an MA in Public Relations from the University of Stirling, UK. He is currently engaged in a Ph.D. at the University of Salzburg, researching the concepts of International Public Relations and Public Diplomacy for the European Union.
He has conducted several workshops on Public Relations Research and Evaluation, PR Planning and Management, Risk and Crisis Communication and Stakeholder Engagement for companies and governmental organisation in the UK, Hungary, Poland, Estonia and Latvia. Moreover, he designed and led training courses for The Health and Safety Executive, the National School of Government in the UK, the Government of Estonia, the Estonian Ministry of Social Affairs, and several for-profit organisations in various European countries.
Mr Szondi has published several book chapters, journal articles and conference papers in English, Hungarian and Polish on international public relations, public diplomacy, nation branding, PR evaluation, risk and crises communication, and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Anne Gregory
Ms Gregory is professor of public relations at Leeds Metropolitan University and is a Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Director of the Centre for Public Relations Studies, a unique Centre which brings together best practice in research, consultancy and teaching.
Before becoming an academic, she has worked both in-house and in consultancy in senior positions, and is still heavily involved in practice, particularly in the public sector, and her current clients include the UK Government Cabinet Office, the Department of Health and Office of the Deputy Prime Minister.
Ms Gregory has also worked for private sector clients such as Nokia and Eloqui. She is an international speaker on a range of topics in public relations and holds Visiting Professor positions at a number of Universities. She has written Planning and Managing Public Relations Campaigns, edited Public Relations in Practice and authored numerous book chapters and papers in academic and practitioner publications.
She edits the CIPR book Series PR in Practice, and is also Editor in Chief of the Journal of Communication Management and on the Editorial Board of Ethical Space and Public Relations Review – the highest ranked Journal in the field.

Marie-Paule Sheard
Mrs Marie-Paule Sheard is the Director of International Development at Leeds Metropolitan University.
Her expertise is in the fields of International Education, International and Service Marketing, and Quality Assurance in collaborative education. She has over 25 years of university-level teaching experience in the United Kingdom in business languages, information technology and marketing. Moreover, she has initiated, developed and is now managing a wide range of international collaborative education projects in countries such as China, India, Turkey, Vietnam, Norway and several EU countries.
Mrs Sheard is also a member of the European Association for International Education and chairs the Joint Degree Committee of the SPACE Network.

Ralph Tench
Professor Tench is the Public Relations Subject Leader at Leeds Metropolitan University which includes 14 full time, part time and associate academic staff and a portfolio of 10 undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses.
As an active researcher he manages internal and external research teams and focuses on corporate relations, corporate social responsibility and public relations education and marketing. Ralph is a Visiting Professor to Salzburg University and has held external examiner roles for Southampton University, Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Ulster, Dublin Institute and Kingston University.
With his colleague Liz Yeomans, Professor Trench has authored the comprehensive, up-to-date and internationally focused textbook Exploring Public Relations. Besides this, his publications include a wide array of journal articles, book chapters, conference papers, and reports on the subjects of Public Relations, CSR, and various disciplines of communication.

Liz Yeomans
Ms Yeomans is the Subject Group Leader of the Public Relations and Communication Department at Leeds Metropolitan University, where she has developed and taught courses and modules in Public Relations both on BA and MBA level.
She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the Radical PR professional network. Through her department, she is furthermore a member of the European Public Relations Education and Research Association (EUPRERA) as well as the International Communication Association.
She has authored several articles, conference papers, a book and several book chapters on the subjects of Public Relations and different disciplines of communication. Her diverse research interests include internal communication and organizational learning, public sector communication and social marketing, and emotion in public relations, which is the subject of a PhD.
