Student testimonials
Studying in the MIC programme was the most relevant and meaningful experience I have had in education so far and it already has an effect on my development as a PR professional. A valuable part of the programme was the opportunity of networking with like-minded individuals from all over the globe. The course is good value in terms of money and time and it is an invaluable tool for all effective communication practitioners. Just go for it!

Being a MIC student was a thrilling experience for many reasons. As a MIC student, I got the opportunity to study at different universities in different countries. I really enjoyed this diverse and inspiring environment. I liked the fact that I was exposed to a wider scope of international communication in the beginning. In the second semester, I focused on the self-chosen topics “crisis communication” and “sustainability.” We dealt with these in more depth. The courses were taught by excellent lecturers who provided plenty of opportunity to extensively debate interesting course topics, projects and other issues. We were also able to bring in interesting topics regarding current developments. I am very happy to have applied for the MIC programme as it provided me with the necessary knowledge and skills for my future career.

After completing my bachelor degree in Canada, I started looking for a master’s programme in communications. I was instantly attracted to the Master in International Communication because of its unique global approach.
The programme is a partnership between five universities in Europe. I have the opportunity to study at two of the partner universities, in two different countries, and graduate with a degree from each institution!
This programme allowed me to, not only meet people from all over the world, but also to gain an invaluable personal and academic experience, and be better prepared for today’s ever-changing global labour market.

One of the best things about the programme is the truly intercultural environment. My classmates come from twelve different countries from five continents! Intercultural awareness and a global view of the business’ world is experienced throughout the programme. Each course presents us with different challenges. If you are planning to be a MIC student you can expect many interesting activities, such as: visiting world renowned companies, participation at international events (for instance www.nrgbattle.nl and www.healthbattle.nl), workshops and personal development guidance – all of that combined with an excellent staff giving you their full support.
I believe this is also the right choice for communication professionals interested in finding a placement within companies operating at world level. Nowadays, everything is international. Having intercultural awareness and being able to work in an international environment has become essential. Without a doubt this programme can help you achieve that.
